About Our Church

In the Old Testament, the people of Israel went through periods of disobedience, repentance, rejoicing, worship and everything else in between. After a long period of disobedience, the people of Israel being led by Samuel earnestly repented of their sins and were forgiven and blessed by the Lord. In remembrance of their victory in battle, Samuel placed a stone as a memorial and called it Ebenezer, which is translated as “stone of help”.   The hymn, "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" has a secondary verse that begins, "Here I raise my Ebenezer, Hither by Thy help I've come". Therefore, an Ebenezer is anything that reminds one that, 'hither by God's help I've come'. We believe that God continues to be our help and we look to Him for guidance in all things.

What We Believe

We follow the instructions of the Holy Bible as the Book of Record that directs our lives. We believe that all scripture is God breathed and given to aid in daily Christian living. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
